During the first quarter of 2021, we observed a sustained growth in the purchase of household appliances. The increase that has been observed globally in the real estate market has benefited us since many families when buying their first or second home, families are choosing to renew their appliances.
During this year and since the beginning of the pandemic we have noted with pleasure that the sales of ovens have had a rise close to 30%. This phenomenon can be explained to the extent that families have overshadowed by preparing recipes at home in response to the impossibility to eat inside commercial establishments in many countries of the world.
Regarding the markets, the United States presented a sales rebound of 25% compared to the same quarter of last year. The successful vaccination process together with the reopening of the economy has generated a good performance in sales.
Regarding the Middle East, sales have been on a constant rise and continue to be our main growing market, especially for high-end products with advanced technology.

As projections for the following quarters, we foresee a considerable increase in sales of commercial products, both in the refrigeration line and in the hot line, this mainly due to the return of economic activity in several countries of the world for this second quarter and second half of the year.
One of the main challenges that we see in the near future are the high prices of raw materials together with transport costs that have increased again in recent months.
